Casper Dog Bed
We’ve been needing a new dog bed for the pups for quite a while now. We custom designed one last year but the fluff inside completely flattened out, making it less of a bed and more of a lumpy sack. Needless to say, the pups were not pleased.
Our friends at Casper were kind enough to send over their new dog mattress for Kokoro and Chibi to use. Honestly, this is the best dog bed we’ve had to date (we’ve gone through 5 already!) and the unique design speaks for itself!
The genius team behind Casper’s wildly popular human mattress company put in the proper research to create a mattress that would be suitable for dogs and their special quirks. Casper’s site details the thought behind the design:
Designed by the same engineering team behind all of Casper’s sleep products, the dog mattress is a universally comfortable sleep surface for our four-legged friends. We combined our mattress-making know-how with extensive dog-centered research to create a sleep environment that caters to canines’ natural behaviors.
You know how most out-of-the-box mattress companies these days have 100-day trials? These doggy mattresses do too! So if your pup sleeps on it for 100 nights and is not fully satisfied, you’re free to send it back. How neat is that?
The foam center makes for better support than the typical dog bed you’d find at the pet store. It’s like the pups are sleeping on a tiny version of our own mattress! I’m also a bit of a clean freak and the convenient and easy to clean zip-off cover makes this bed a dream maintenance-wise.
Thanks again to the wonderful people behind Casper for creating our favorite dog bed (or shall I say, mattress) to date and for sending one over for Kokoro & Chibi to try!
Does your corgi still love this bed? I’m looking for a new bed for my corgi, and she seems to enjoy cold marble floors and clean laundry over a designated dog bed. I would love to keep her happy in her senior years :)
Yes! Both of my dogs still use it every day. We’ve washed the cover a few times already, and the doggy “mattress” fillers have retained their shape and support. I definitely recommend you try it out for your dog :)
What size do you recommend for corgis?
I would say large!
