Discover LA Restaurant Week
Thanks to the wonderful people at the LA Tourism Board, I stopped by MEET in Paris for a three-course lunch today, and the food was on point. We ordered the Chicken Liver Mousse to start out with. The bread had a beautiful, satisfying, crunch that paired perfectly with everything else on the adorable wooden serving board.
Next came the main meal: Moules Escargot with Pomme Frites for me, and Croque Monsieur for him.
The best part of the meal, as always, was the dessert. Profiteroles covered in decadent dark chocolate and crunchy almonds that complemented the puff pastry and vanilla ice cream so well. I could probably live off of just this dessert for the rest of my life. Or at least I wish I could.
