Home Accents from Joss & Main
We recently moved to a new place and finally have a little more space to breathe and live in, yay! The exposed white wood beams and natural light have been such a nice change of pace from the smaller and darker apartment we’ve been in since we moved to California. We’ve been learning the hard way that your $$$ really doesn’t go very far in the world of renting in LA.
In recent weeks I’ve finally gotten around to tying up loose ends, decorating, and adding a bit of personality to our space. First was decking out our hardwood floors with this huge fluffy rug from Wayfair. The pups love it for having traction to run around and play, and I love it for keeping my feet warm and snug during the winter.
The fabulous team at Joss & Main was kind also enough to send over a couple other home accents to help us spice up our space. The first was this beautiful wood art print that is going in our living room. I love the style of the wood panels and how it complements our exposed wood beam ceilings. There’s also something so calming about looking at the watercolor-like feather artwork.
We also got the Carissa Pouf Ottoman for a bit of extra seating for guests. Kokoro, however, has already claimed it as her new throne and favorite spot in our living room. I love that the knitting makes it look like a giant sweater was wrapped over the pouf, and it gives just the perfect amount of support so that you don’t feel like you’re sinking into the ground when you sit on it.
If you know me in person, white and grey tones rule my life. My Pinterest board for home inspiration is also filled with these colors and Scandinavian interior design trends.
We’ll be adding more to our place in the coming months so stay tuned for more updates!
