A while back, the wonderful people at Keys Apparel sent Kokoro their gorgeous Sari collar to try out. I absolutely loved the design and the bright pop of color against K’s white fur, and she had a good run wearing that collar.
Once Chibi came along, she inherited some of Kokoro’s things. (I wasn’t about to give a freshly teething puppy a brand new collar to chew on!) But I have to say, Cheebs rocked that Sari collar as well.
This weekend, we received some new collars, and the colors are absolutely gorgeous! I can’t get over how rustic yet beautiful these designs are. What’s even better than a dog-lovin’ company with good design? A dog-lovin’ company with good design that does the world good.
Keys Apparel’s mission is “Providing stylish and desirable dog apparel while supporting and maintaining social awareness and justice.”
Keys Apparel is a business committed to social justice. By design, we exist to help stimulate the success of the Anti-Human Trafficking movement. We achieve this by partnering with various non-profit organizations that are at the front lines of the movement. These organizations offer women and girls an income-earning alternative to the dark world of human trafficking. Our model is designed to connect these organizations to the international marketplace. Ultimately, your purchase is helping offer victims empowerment, vocational training, safety and supplies.

Tell me your pup doesn’t want to wear these. Seriously.
The Keys Apparel team has partnered with various organizations to make pet apparel that is hand-made by rescued victims of human trafficking. Proceeds from these beautiful accessories for your dogs then help sustain social justice organizations across the United States and around the world. In simple terms: love your pet, love people.
I’d definitely recommend checking out their online store and read more about the fantastic work they’re doing for the world of humans and dogs.
