Pet-friendly stay in the heart of Times Square
We just got back from a short trip to Manhattan last night! Earlier this year, Cheebs and I had an amazing stay at the original Kimpton hotel near Madison Square Park. This time, Kokoro came along too and we stayed at Kimpton’s Muse Hotel just a block off of Times Square!

We were on the fifth floor and didn’t get much of a view, but the corner room was cozy and quiet so we could get a good night’s rest with no problem.

As expected, the bathrooms were clean, bright, and gorgeous. The marble tiling and stainless steel accents made it one of my favorite spots to take photos in during our stay.
Kokoro and Chibi are always treated like VIP’s (or should I say, VID’s) and we enjoyed some delicious goodies upon check in – organic dog biscuits for the little ones and fruit, cheese, and wine for the humans.

Protip: They are currently running a special right now in celebration of the Year of the Dog. If you say the words “red envelope” upon check in, you will receive some special goodies for your pup!
Just like the other Kimpton hotels, happy hour is daily from 5-6pm and you can enjoy free wine or beer in the hotel lobby. Room service is available at this hotel but ends at 10pm.

The staff left us a nice big dog bed for the pups to share and a couple of bowls for food and water. We don’t usually let the dogs sleep in the bed with us, but they get lucky when we’re on vacation!
The hotel and lobby are on the smaller side and the rooms are not as luxe and modern as other hotels in the city, but for the price point and location, the Muse hotel is a great option for those looking to visit bustling Manhattan with their four-legged friends.
