There’s nothing more fun than a pool day for the dogs. We used to take Chibi swimming for hydrotherapy as part of her recovery from surgery, but the pool we visited in Los Angeles was indoors, pretty small, and didn’t incite that much excitement in the experience.
Last week, the team at The Bone Adventure invited us to check out their outdoor dog pool in Costa Mesa… and boy were we impressed! Kokoro, Chibi, and their best bud Pavlov had a fun morning romping around the pool, diving for balls off the dock, and enjoying a peaceful paddle in the deep end.
The Bone Adventure is a doggy daycare facility, complete with an outdoor play area, boarding services, and grooming.
Their Swim Club is an outdoor, temperature controlled, salt water pool that is reminiscent of an outdoor pool you’d find at a resort. The pool is L-shaped and equipped with a 40 foot long dock for dogs to jump in and make a splash.
The most impressive part of all? Their staff were the most attentive and caring dog lovers we’ve ever come across. Seriously.
You know how sometimes you take your dog to a daycare center and you just feel like the employees don’t care that much about your dog’s wellbeing? The team at The Bone Adventure are the complete opposite of that. I felt like Kokoro and Chibi were completely safe and taken care of while we were at the pool, and I could just enjoy watching them have a good time. I didn’t even have to worry about them interacting with new dogs — the staff had everything down. 100%.
Check out this mini vlog we made of the pups hanging out at the pool!
Needless to say, this is by far the best outdoor dog pool experience we’ve ever come across for the pups. If your dog is a fan of swimming, you HAVE to bring them here for some fun this summer! Check out The Bone Adventure’s website for swim classes, reserved swim sessions, or group swim options for your dog.
HUGE thanks again to The Bone Adventure for enlightening us with your amazing doggy pool (and many tail wags from Kokoro and Chibi)!
